‘yula’ is an online Pilates classes service for women of all ages. It provides high quality exercises which you can do from the comfort of your own home or anywhere you like. The company focuses on self improvement through personalised feedback. It started as a studio based company, but they’ve adjust their business model after Covid-19 pandemic started.   

Logo design

A good brand connect emotionally with the consumers with the intention to create a long term relationship with them. Yula’s values connection with its users and empowers them through tailored Pilates exercise routines. The Logo’s objective in this case. as in most designs, is to both reflect this connection and to instill the company’s message. 

I went with a rounded logo-type to convey vitality, flexibility and comfort. This logo-type is composed from a curvy custom made font I’ve created.*  

* Consistency is key in order to achieve a homogenic logo, thus the curves in the ‘Y’, ‘U’ and ‘A’ are identical.

The app needed to entice the user to both workout and to book more classes. 

In order to achieve this we went with a dynamic and playful look. The user could see how many classes she had taken in the last few months, how many she cancelled and whether she achieved the goals she had set up for herself. By achieving more goals and workouts the user also gains points that can be used for booking more classes at a discount. 

The app was design for Hebrew speakers, as that is the current target audience of the company.
